FED LENSES |
Pre-War FED LENSES |
| These lenses are all uncoated and were all produced before the second world war. These lenses were not strictly Leica Thread Mount(LTM). LTM is 39mmx26 turns/inch whitworth while these pre war FEDs were 39mmX26 turns/mm which is slightly different. The original packing was a blue fabric covered cardboard tube with FED (in Cyrillic)stamped on the cover. There was a rear cap and a lens cap both plastic with FED in Cyrillic.

| This is a 28mm wide angle lens with apertures of 4.5, 6.3, 9, 12.5 and 18. It has a locking focusing lever and focuses from 1.25 meters. This lens is very scarce. |
FED 1:3,5 F=50m/m |
| This is a 50 mm normal lens with apertures of 3.5, 4.5, 6.3, 9, 12.5 and 18. It has a locking focusing lever and focuses from 1.25 meters. It is a collapsible lens. Although it is never marked Industar-10 this is called Industar-10 in the Soviet literature. It is the normal lens for the Fed(1) cameras. |

| This is a 50mm macro focusing lens with apertures of 3.5, 4.5, 6.3, 9, 12.5 and 18. It has no focusing lever and focuses from 15 cm. It is the normal 50mm lens in a special close focusing mount and is not collapsible. This lens is extremely rare(2 known). |

| This is a 100mm telephoto lens with apertures of 4.5, 6.3, 9, 12.5 and 18. It has a locking focusing lever and focuses from 1.25 meters. The original packaging for this lens was a blue fabric covered cardboard tube with "FED" in Cyrillic letters embossed on the top. It came with front and rear lens caps made of black plastic with "FED" in Cyrillic letters on them. |

| Although it is never marked Industar-10, this is called Industar-10 in the Soviet literature. It is the normal lens for the Fed(1) cameras. This is a 50mm F3.5 standard lens with apertures to 3.5. It focuses from 1.0 meters. Because of the long time that this lens was manufactured there are several minor variations, different focusing release, serial number on back or front etc. |

| The ZK 50mm/1.5 lens is only found on FED/Zorki cameras and was probably made from Zeiss parts. It has little tabs on the aperture ring just like the Zeiss lenses and is in fixed mount. ZK stands for Zonnar Krasnagorsk. |

ZK Zorkii 50mm f1.5 |
| The ZK Zorkii 50mm/1.5 lens is only found on FED/Zorki cameras and was probably made from Zeiss parts. It is not collapsable. ZK stands for Zonnar Krasnagorsk. This lens became the Jupiter 3. Comments: I have no proof that this lens exsists. However since it exists in Kiev/Contax mount I am reasonably sure that it was made in screw mount. |

ZK stands for Zonnar Krasnagorsk. The lens appears to be a Contax mount lens that has been modified to have a leica thread lens mount.This lens became the Jupiter 8. |

| This is a 50mm F3.5 standard lens with apertures to 16. It has a locking focusing lever and focuses from 1.2 meters. It is found in a collapsible lens mount and a fixed mount. There are 3 rare variations one with the original KMZ logo, one marked Zorkii with no manufacturers symbol and one marked Moscow. It comes in both collapsable and fixed mounts. |

The way to distinguish this rangefinder lens is thst it is straight and the SLR lens is shaped more like a hand grenade. There is a Jupiter 11-1 that was produced in black in contax mount so probably it also exists in screw mount. |
